Grayle Howlett

Grayle’s love affair with soccer began at age 10 when he and his family moved to England and he took up the game. He became an ardent Chelsea FC supporter almost immediately and has remained a passionate supporter ever since. Upon returning to the States in high school, Grayle went on to enjoy a decorated college career at Middlebury and after graduating, pursued a professional career both in England and the U.S. Alas, he didn’t earn a roster spot with either Queens Park Rangers of the First Division, or the Montreal Manic of the NASL, and therefore resigned himself to playing with amateur teams, while pursuing a career in media sales. Grayle has held several media executive positions over his business career, including a 16 year run at Sports Illustrated. He still plays pick-up soccer on the weekends.
